Hi! Where can I view the results of the haiku competition?

I see you have two amazing haiku practitioners as judges. I’m guessing the winning haiku will not only be great, but a service to the public as to what a good haiku really is.

    • Alan,

Nick Avis and Tom Dawe are, as you say, amazing writers of haiku and we’re very excited to have them as this year’s judges.

I believe the winning haiku will be posted on the festival website: http://www.mun.ca/arts/events/SPARKS.php

I will also be posting the results of the competition, along with a write-up about the festival, here at Dark Art Cafe, near the end of January.

Thanks for your interest! The CBC will, I believe, also be broadcasting segments of the readings in the weeks following the festival. If I can find links to podcasts I will post a few as well.

      All the best,
      Sam
